Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end design and engineering of ELV systems, including:
- Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS)
- CCTV & Video Surveillance
- Access Control Systems
- Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA)
- Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber)
- BMS / IBMS / DCIM integration
- Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security/Physical Security
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ELV systems across projects.
- Develop and review Basis of Design (BOD), specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with MEP, IT, Architecture, Civil, and Client teams for seamless system integration.
- Review and approve vendor submittals, technical proposals, and shop drawings.
- Support construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with international and local standards (NFPA, IEC, IS, NBC, BS, TIA/EIA).
- Identify technical risks and implement value engineering and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level ELV engineers.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Support proposals, estimates, and business development activities when required.
- 10+ years of experience in ELV system design and delivery.
- Experience on large commercial, data center, healthcare, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong exposure to IP-based and integrated ELV systems.
- Experience working in consultancy and/or EPC environments.
- BIM/Revit exposure preferred.
