Experience& Qualifications

- 6–10 years of experience in risk, controls, and audit functions within consulting and/or banking industry
- Qualified certification such as CA, CIA, FRM, or CFA (minimum one preferable), or basic degree in finance
- Experience working with global, geographically dispersed teams.

Key Skills & Expertise

- In-depth knowledge of Finance and Investment Banking operations, with a strong grasp of risk and control frameworks
- Good understanding of middle office and back office banking operations such as confirmation, settlement, trade support, collateral, lending, reconciliations etc.
- Strong proficiency in risk-based audit methodologies, including risk assessment and audit planning
- Demonstrated experience in leading end-to-end audit engagements
- Excellent audit reporting, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Working knowledge of data analytics tools and their application in internal audits
- Advanced proficiency in English communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to understand business processes and identify/interpret risks
- Strong learning agility to build expertise in new domains

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute audit reviews of varying complexity from planning through closure
- Leverage data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness wherever feasible
- Support risk assessment exercises and contribute to annual audit planning
- Ensure accurate documentation, audit trail, and work papers in line with audit methodology
- Develop and present clear, concise, and high-quality audit reports to management
