POSITION OVERVIEW

We're seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Aligne Business Analyst to lead complex functional and technical reporting initiatives within our Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) domain. This senior role demands deep subject matter expertise in the Power and Gas deal lifecycle coupled with proven, practical execution in Aligne report design and batch process creation. The successful candidate will manage critical reporting changes across Credit, Risk, and Settlement business functions, taking full ownership of enhancement requests, bug fixes, and stakeholder alignments. Additionally, this role carries team leadership responsibilities, educating stakeholders and driving Agile delivery standardizations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Aligne Report & Batch Design: Independently architect, configure, and deliver complex report development and batch scheduling within Aligne to solve critical business problems. Business Domain Management: Drive business analysis and functional delivery across core energy trading areas: Credit, Risk Management, and Settlements. Issue Resolution & Enhancements: Autonomously investigate, troubleshoot, and fix system bugs, as well as lead change requests and system enhancements from concept to deployment. Agile Leadership & Facilitation: Lead sprint execution in an Agile framework,



championing Agile best practices and mentoring/educating Product Owners, business partners, and junior analysts. Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specification documents and bridge communication between trading floor business units and IT delivery teams. • • • • • 1/2 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS Overall Experience: 8 to 10 years of total experience in IT, with demonstrated team leadership or senior analyst experience. Aligne ETRM Hands-on Expertise: Minimum 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience in Aligne ETRM (including report configuration/development and batch execution). Candidates with experience solely in other ETRM platforms (e.g., Endur, RightAngle) will not be eligible. Energy Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the end-to-end Power and Gas deal life cycle (front to back office). Agile Competency: Proven track record of working within Agile/Scrum teams using Agile tools (Jira/ Confluence) and guiding business partners in Agile ways of working. Education: Bachelor’s Degree (4-year program) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS Working knowledge of the Aligne GBO (Global Back Office) module. Understanding of Energy Finance domain and accounting integration workflows. WORK MODEL & SELECTION PROCESS Work Location: Embassy TechVillage, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore, KA. Work Model: Hybrid setup requiring 3 days of mandatory in-office collaboration per week.
