The Senior Field Investigator / Field Investigator is responsible for the on-ground implementation of the Alternate Wetting & Drying (AWD) rice program in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This includes mobilizing farmers, ensuring correct installation and use of field water tubes, and verifying adherence to AWD irrigation protocols.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with farmers, government bodies, and local institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regenerative agriculture practices and the ability to provide training and handholding support to farmers.

The Senior Field Investigator will supervise other Field Investigators and coordinate with the Territory Manager to ensure alignment. This will involve regular field visits, data collection, and reporting to ensure the successful implementation of the AWD program.

The Field Investigator will be responsible for mobilizing and onboarding farmers and FPOs into regenerative agriculture projects. This will involve conducting training sessions, providing handholding support, and ensuring correct installation and use of field water tubes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regenerative agriculture practices, data collection and validation, and digital tools and software. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with farmers, government bodies, and local institutions.

The Senior Field Investigator / Field Investigator will be responsible for collecting, validating, and uploading MRV data (such as field water level readings, irrigation logs, and crop stage observations) using digital tools. They will also be responsible for providing training and handholding support to farmers on the Alternate Wetting & Drying (AWD) protocol, including proper use of field water tubes.

The role will involve working closely with the Territory Manager and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of the AWD program. This will involve regular meetings, data sharing, and reporting to ensure alignment and progress.
