Maintenance Store Supervisor

Job Summary

The Maintenance Store Supervisor oversees the receipt, storage, inventory

control, and issuance of maintenance materials, spare parts, tools, and

consumables. The role ensures productive stock management, minimizes downtime

by maintaining adequate inventory levels, and supports maintenance teams with

timely availability of required items.

Key Responsibilities

∙Supervise daily operations of the maintenance store.

∙Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spare parts, tools, and maintenance

materials.

∙Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and computerized

systems (ERP/CMMS).

∙Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions when required.

∙Ensure proper storage, labelling, and preservation of materials.

∙Issue materials and spare parts to maintenance personnel according to

procedures.

∙Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.

∙Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

∙Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and maintenance departments.

∙Track critical spare parts and ensure availability to prevent equipment

downtime.

∙Maintain housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards within the

store.

∙Prepare inventory and consumption reports for management.

∙Train and supervise storekeepers and store assistants.





∙Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control

procedures.

Required Qualifications

∙Diploma- Elec./Mech or Bachelor's degree , Supply Chain Management,

Logistics, or a related field.

∙5–6 years of experience in maintenance stores, warehouse operations, or

inventory management.

∙Knowledge of maintenance spare parts, tools, and equipment.

∙Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or similar

inventory software.

∙Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
