Galaxy Freight Private Limited is a leading logistics company seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Collection Executive to join our team. As a key member of our accounts receivable department, you will be responsible for managing outstanding receivables and ensuring timely payment collection from customers.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for following up with customers for outstanding payments through calls, emails, and meetings, conducting regular cold calls to connect with customers regarding pending dues, and visiting customer locations for payment collection and account reconciliation when required.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with internal teams to resolve payment-related queries and disputes, maintaining accurate records of collections, follow-ups, and customer communications, and preparing collection reports and updating payment status regularly.
We are looking for a professional who is able to build and maintain robust relationships with customers while ensuring timely collections, and achieve collection targets and reduce overdue receivables.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in collections, accounts receivable, or payment follow-up, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
Willingness to travel within Mumbai for customer visits is also essential.
