Video Producer & Director (Digital Storytelling)

Role Overview:

Lead the end-to-end creation of digital storytelling films - from ideation support and creative direction to production, cinematography, and final delivery. The role requires a strong visual storyteller who can independently direct shoots, operate cameras when required, and produce high-quality branded content.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and direct digital storytelling videos, brand films, documentaries, social-first content, and campaign films.
- Translate creative briefs into compelling visual narratives and shot plans.
- Lead pre-production, including scripting support, storyboarding, shot lists, recce, casting, and production planning.
- Operate qualified cameras and oversee lighting, framing, composition, and audio during shoots.
- Direct talent, interview subjects, and crew to achieve the desired creative vision.
- Manage end-to-end production logistics, vendors, freelancers, equipment, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, design, and post-production teams.
- Supervise editing, color grading, motion graphics, sound design, and final output to ensure storytelling quality.




- Ensure content is optimized for digital platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social channels.
- Stay updated with emerging filmmaking techniques, camera technologies, AI-assisted production workflows, and digital content trends.

Required Skills

- 4–7 years of experience directing and producing branded video content.
- Strong cinematography skills with hands-on experience operating cameras such as Sony, Canon or similar cinema cameras.
- Excellent understanding of composition, lighting, audio capture, and visual storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of editing workflows (Adobe Premiere Pro, After effects) and motion graphics collaboration.
- Ability to independently manage shoots from planning through execution.
- Experience managing production budgets, crews, vendors, and timelines.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in a creative agency, production house, or content studio.
- Portfolio featuring brand films, documentaries, corporate storytelling, social campaigns, and interviews.
