About the jobPurpose of the Position (Job Summary)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Team Member – Accounts & Finance (A&F;) to support the financial operations of our plant. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end closures, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and effective working capital management. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain financial discipline, strengthen internal controls, and support smooth plant operations.

Key Individual Accountabilities1. Financial Closing & Reporting

- Manage monthly closing of plant accounts and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Review and scrutinize General Ledger (GL) entries to ensure correctness and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reviews and highlight variances with necessary corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate accounting of plant transactions and maintain financial records in line with company policies.

2. Audit & Compliance
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Support implementation of audit recommendations and continuously strengthen financial governance.

3. Vendor & Employee Accounting
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on a timely basis.
- Handle employee-related accounting including payroll entries, reimbursements, advances, and related provisions.




- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely processing and reconciliation of financial transactions.

4. Working Capital Management
- Support analysis of working capital, monitor receivables and payables, and assist in fund planning for smooth plant operations.
- Track outstanding balances and collaborate with internal teams to improve cash flow efficiency.
- Assist management with financial analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making.

Technical & Behavioral Skills & Knowledge
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 years of post-qualification experience (excluding articleship/internship) in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and company accounting policies.
- Experience in plant accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Good understanding of working capital management, vendor accounting, payroll accounting, and financial controls.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict reporting timelines.
