About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our DevOps infrastructure. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership in building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native environments while establishing DevOps best practices across the organization.

This role requires strong expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, infrastructure monitoring, system security, and production reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and lead the architecture of scalable, secure, and highly available DevOps infrastructure.
- Build, deploy, and manage fault-tolerant Kubernetes-based production environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate application delivery.
- Monitor production systems, proactively identify issues, and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and optimization of Linux servers and production infrastructure.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability.
- Strengthen infrastructure security by implementing best practices for access control, network security, and vulnerability management.
- Continuously evaluate, improve, and automate existing DevOps processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline software delivery and deployment.




- Stay updated with emerging DevOps technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure efficiency.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

Containerization & Orchestration

- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with Container Network Interface (CNI) solutions such as Calico.
- Good understanding of service mesh technologies, preferably Istio.

CI/CD & Automation

- Solid experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar DevOps automation tools.

Infrastructure & Operating Systems

- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in designing production-grade DevOps architecture.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and infrastructure security.

Monitoring & Observability

- Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as:
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- Ability to proactively monitor production environments and optimize system performance.

Databases & Storage (Preferred)

Exposure to one or more of the following technologies would be an advantage:

- TiKV
- Elasticsearch
- Kafka
- PostgreSQL
- Object Storage

Cloud Technologies (Preferred)

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
