The primary focus will be to implement new APIs and features together with automated unit and

integration tests. You will be working with our candid and collaborative team, where your knowledge and advice about application architecture and the newest web technologies will be highly appreciated. The code you write will need to be cleanly organized and of the highest quality. You'll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities

- Developing current features and user interface APIs from user requirements
- Identify and plan for new features
- Remain up to date with the concepts and best practices for coding back end portals
- Work closely with colleagues to constantly innovate application functionality and design
- Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
- Fixing bugs and performance problems
- Writing clean, readable, and testable code
- Cooperating with front-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well architected and high-quality solutions
- Take proactive measures to understand user experience of front end portals and recommend measures to improve
- Create and maintain extensive documentation related to application development
- Maintain clean documentation related to different components at code level
- Participate in code reviews
- Setup and maintain automated workflows for progressive web apps management
- Communicate with users to understand their needs and experiences

Skills

- Extensive knowledge about web application development using NodeJS, Express, and any other framework company decides.



This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the production
- Deep knowledge of Typescript and NodeJS architecture
- Proficiency with writing automated tests depending on the libraries you use to test
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and micro service libraries for networking
- Proficiency with the JSON format
- Experience with profiling and debugging web applications
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
- Familiarity with Git
- Familiarity with push notifications, local notifications, OAUTH, AWS, Google Fit, Apple Health APIs
- Understanding web application design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences
- Develop proficiency in upcoming NodeJS libraries
- Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude

Objectives for first 3 months:

Month 1: You'll be entirely up to speed with our tech stack and new product road map, as well as understanding how you can personally drive the success of its delivery.

Month 2: You've delivered some fantastic, clean code and features on company's new software

product. You have also started to identify areas where you can play to your strengths and make our product better – perhaps by making recommendations or process improvements.

Month 3: You're a high performing and highly valued member of the team who can share your

knowledge with new team members. You've pushed Angular further than you ever have before. And you've seen your work come to life in the form of a game-changing software product.
