Testing Skills

- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong hands-on experience in API Testing, API Automation and API Integration Testing.
- Hands-on experience in UI Test Automation.
- Strong experience in Integration and End-to-End Testing across multiple systems.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS and OAuth 2.0.
- Hands-on experience with Postman, SoapUI or equivalent API testing tools.
- Experience in Hardware Access Validation and software-to-hardware integration testing.
- Good knowledge of SQL and backend data validation.
- Experience testing cloud applications, event-driven/asynchronous workflows and error/retry scenarios.
- Knowledge of OHIP / OPERA Cloud APIs, gRPC, Protocol Buffers or HTTP/2 is desirable.

Analytical/Process Skills

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and defect lifecycle.
- Robust analytical, scenario exploration and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to understand API specifications, integration workflows and business requirements.
- Ability to design effective API, integration, hardware and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Ability to troubleshoot using API responses, application logs, database records and hardware behavior.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers and cross-functional teams during requirement reviews.
- Prepare and maintain automated test scripts and required QA documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform API, integration, UI, functional and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain API and UI automation test suites.
- Validate API integrations, authentication, data mapping and system-to-system communication.
- Perform Hardware Access Validation and software-to-hardware integration testing.
- Validate event-driven/asynchronous workflows, failures, retries, timeouts and recovery scenarios.
- Perform SQL/backend validation and troubleshoot issues using logs and API responses.
- Manage test cases, test results, defects and QA documentation.
- Ensure product quality and provide timely QA status/reporting.
