Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

- Policy Management: Create, test, and tune DLP rules to safeguard PII, financial records, and intellectual property.
- Incident Monitoring: Investigate security alerts, analyze data movement anomalies, and handle remediation workflows.
- System Integration: Deploy and maintain DLP tools across endpoints, cloud environments (CASB), and email gateways.
- Compliance Support:



Ensure data handling practices align with regulatory standards like GDPR and HIPAA.

Requirements and Skills

- Experience: 6+ years in IT security focusing specifically on data protection and classification.
- Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with enterprise DLP solutions (such as Microsoft Purview, Symantec, or McAfee).
- Core Concepts: Deep understanding of data states (in use, in motion, at rest) and network protocols.
- Certifications: Relevant security credentials (like CISSP, CISA, or vendor-specific security badges)
