Job Summary Wakefit is seeking a skilled Furniture Carpenter to join its manufacturing team. The role involves crafting, assembling, and finishing wooden furniture while ensuring high quality standards and meeting production timelines. Key Responsibilities 1 Cut, shape, and assemble wooden components according to drawings and specifications 2 Manufacture furniture such as beds, sofas, tables, cabinets, and storage units 3 Operate carpentry tools and machinery safely and efficiently 4 Perform polishing, finishing,



and surface treatments when required 5 Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy 6 Repair or modify furniture as needed 7 Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the workstation 8 Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions Required Skills & Qualifications 1 Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in furniture carpentry 2 Knowledge of wood types, laminates, plywood, and fittings 3 Ability to read basic drawings or measurements 4 Skilled in using hand tools and woodworking machines 5 Solid attention to detail and quality workmanship 6 Physically fit and comfortable working on the shop floor Preferred Qualities 1 Team-oriented attitude 2 Willingness to learn and upgrade skills 3 Responsible and punctual 4 Focus on safety and discipline
