KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development & Design

1. Own end-to-end product development: concept creation, garment design, tech pack preparation, sampling, revision tracking, and production handoff
2. Translate creative direction, mood boards, and seasonal briefs into commercially viable and manufacturable products
3. Develop innovative performance and activewear collections aligned with brand positioning and athlete requirements
4. Create detailed, production-ready tech packs including:
5. Flat sketches
6. Construction details
7. Measurement specifications
8. Colorways
9. Trim and branding placements
10. Fabric and material specifications
11. Ensure all design files and specifications are accurate, organized, and factory-ready with minimal interpretation required

Sampling & Production Coordination

1. Manage the complete sampling cycle from first proto to final approval
2. Coordinate directly with factories, vendors, and sourcing partners regarding design execution, fit corrections, and construction updates
3. Maintain development calendars and ensure sampling timelines are achieved
4. Track revisions, approvals, and comments across all sample stages
5. Proactively identify and resolve construction, fit, or quality issues before production

Fabric & Technical Development

1. Work closely with sourcing teams on fabric selection, trims, and technical components
2. Apply strong understanding of garment construction, pattern logic, and fabric behavior during product development
3. Ensure products meet performance requirements such as:
4. Moisture management
5. Compression
6. Breathability
7. UV protection
8. Four-way stretch
9. Prepare print-ready artwork files and coordinate with print vendors for accurate execution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Collaborate with creative, branding, and marketing teams on seasonal launches and campaigns
2. Support development of custom and event-specific collections
3. Maintain organized product libraries, sample archives, and version-controlled development trackers
4. Contribute ideas for product innovation, construction improvements, and athlete-focused functionality

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field
2. 5+ years of experience in apparel design, preferably in performance wear or activewear
3. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator with strong technical sketching abilities
4. Strong understanding of:
5. Garment construction
6. Pattern development
7. Fit and grading
8. Fabric performance
9. Manufacturing processes
10. Proven experience independently managing vendor and factory communication
11. Experience handling complete sampling and development cycles
12.



Strong knowledge of printing techniques and print-ready artwork preparation
13. Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in tech pack documentation
14. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
15. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
16. Comfortable collaborating with teams across different time zones

2. Experience working on custom, event-based, or small-batch production programs
