Assembling recent machinery and fitting parts together according to technical blueprints and specifications.

Inspection:
Inspecting machinery and components for faults, wear, and tear, or compliance with safety standards.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to safety regulations (OSHA or local standards) while operating tools and assembling parts.
Documentation:
Recording maintenance activities and reporting work progress to supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications Certification:
ITI Certificate in the Fitter trade (usually a 2-year NCVT-approved course).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, metal properties, and engineering drawing interpretation.
