Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Autocad Draftsman role based in Kanchipuram. The Autocad Draftsman will prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings and plans for construction projects using AutoCAD and related drafting tools. Responsibilities include interpreting architectural and engineering sketches, updating drawings based on design revisions, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and codes. The role involves coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers, maintaining drawing records,



and supporting documentation required for statutory approvals. The Autocad Draftsman will also assist in quantity take-offs, basic measurements, and layout planning as needed.

Qualifications

- Robust proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of other drafting or design software.
- Ability to read, interpret, and prepare architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Understanding of construction methods, building codes, and relevant standards.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and organized documentation skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, architects, and project teams.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Prior experience as an Autocad Draftsman in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kanchipuram and adapt to project timelines and priorities.
