Cadient Talent is a US talent acquisition SaaS platform for high-volume hourly hiring, evolving into a multi-product HR software company. We operate a distributed model — US market, India execution engine — and we're deliberately building an AI-first company: workflows where humans architect and manage agentic systems rather than scaling headcount.

The Role

The COO is the operating system of the company. You'll own day-to-day execution across delivery, support, implementation, CS operations, and internal infrastructure — freeing the CEO/CTO to focus on product and market. This is a builder-operator role: you'll design the operating machine, not inherit one.

What You'll Own

- Execution & delivery: implementation, support, and services operations serving US customers from India — SLAs, quality, and velocity
- Operating cadence: goal-setting, metrics reviews, cross-functional planning; a lightweight operating rhythm that scales without bureaucracy
- AI-native operations: aggressively automate internal workflows — support triage, reporting, QA, onboarding — targeting 10x output per operator rather than linear hiring
- P&L; discipline: cost structure, vendor management,



unit economics of delivery and support
- Talent & org design: hire and develop leads across functions; build a culture of ownership in a lean org
- Compliance & risk: SOC 2 posture, security operations support, contractual obligations to enterprise customers

What We're Looking For

- 12+ years in operations leadership, with 5+ running multi-functional teams at a B2B SaaS or technology services company
- Track record running India-based teams serving US enterprise customers
- First-principles operator — you redesign processes rather than adding layers to broken ones
- Demonstrated conviction about AI in operations: you've deployed automation/agents to replace manual workflows, not just piloted them
- Strong commercial instincts — comfortable with P&L; ownership, pricing mechanics, and enterprise contract dynamics
- Low-ego, high-ownership; effective in a flat, fast-moving portfolio-company environment

Nice to Have

- HR tech, ATS, or recruiting industry exposure
- Experience through a product transition (single product → platform/suite)
- Prior startup or PE/portfolio-company operating experience
