Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and security.
- Develop and document database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on database best practices.
Qualified & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with database installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Strong understanding of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
- Ability to optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline database maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of security best practices to safeguard sensitive data within database environments.
