Job Title: SAP PP/QM Solution Architect

Experience: 10–18 years

- Minimum of 10–18 years of relevant experience in SAP PP/QM, including at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations as Solution Architect or Lead Consultant, in addition to experience across support/AMS and enhancement-driven projects.
- Should have deep, architect-level expertise across all areas of SAP Production Planning — MRP, Planned Orders, Production Orders, Batch Management, S&OP;, and SPRO Configuration — with the ability to design end-to-end solution architecture, not just configure individual components.
- Minimum 8+ years of consulting experience in SAP Manufacturing, with proven ownership of solution design in at least one Discrete Manufacturing setting (Process Manufacturing exposure is a plus).
- Strong expertise in QM and its integration architecture across SAP modules — should be able to define and govern integration design patterns, not just execute them.
- Must have led or architected at least 2 S/4HANA projects, including responsibility for solution blueprinting, fit-to-standard workshops, and migration/conversion considerations (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Data Transition).
- Must have owned at least 2 End-to-End implementation projects as Solution Architect, or led multiple large-scale change programs/enhancement portfolios — with demonstrated ability to define solution roadmaps, not just deliver individual requirements.
- Should be able to architect and govern Custom Interfaces, Reports, and Programs (RICEFW) related to SAP Production Planning — setting design standards and reviewing/approving specifications developed by functional and technical teams, in addition to authoring Functional Specifications personally when required.
- Should be capable of directing ABAP development teams to deliver enhancements/custom solutions,



with strong ABAP debugging skills and the ability to make build-vs-buy and design-pattern decisions independently.
- Strong, hands-on expertise in integration architecture of PP with WM/eWM and FICO is required (not just added advantage at this level).
- Experience architecting integration between SAP ECC/S/4HANA and external MES or shop floor applications is highly desirable, including defining integration patterns and data governance standards.
- Should be able to provide architectural oversight and escalation support to the AMS team for complex/ageing tickets, while driving root-cause and structural fixes rather than one-off resolutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory, with proven ability to present solution architecture, roadmaps, and business cases to senior stakeholders and large audiences (client leadership, steering committees).
- Should be a self-driven, strategic thinker capable of owning ambiguous problems end-to-end with minimal supervision, while also mentoring and guiding junior/mid-level consultants across the SAP PP/QM track.
- Should be comfortable engaging in pre-sales, solution estimation, and proposal development activities when required.
