About the RoleIndus Valley is looking for a proactive and execution-focused Civil Engineer to lead factory

infrastructure improvement, maintenance, and project execution across our Shimla and

Faridabad facilities.

The selected candidate will initially be based at the Shimla manufacturing plant for

approximately 4 months to focus on infrastructure upgrades, factory maintenance, and overall

factory improvement initiatives. Post completion of the initial phase, the candidate will

support the Faridabad factory setup and development projects.

This role requires robust ownership, contractor management, practical problem-solving, and

end-to-end project execution capability.

Key Responsibilities

Factory Infrastructure & Improvement Projects

 Lead civil infrastructure improvement projects across factory premises

 Upgrade factory entrances, office areas, pathways, washrooms, pantry, flooring,

lighting, signage, storage areas, and employee facilities

 Improve the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of factory spaces

 Coordinate renovation and maintenance activities with minimal disruption to factory

operations

Factory Maintenance

 Handle day-to-day civil maintenance activities including:

o Plumbing

o Waterproofing

o Flooring repairs





o Drainage systems

o Road and pathway maintenance

o Shed and structural repairs

 Ensure quick resolution of infrastructure and maintenance issues

Project Execution & Coordination

 Plan and execute projects from start to completion

 Prepare and monitor project timelines, budgets, and execution schedules

 Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams

 Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work quality and progress

 Identify delays/issues proactively and ensure timely resolution

Contractor & Vendor Management

 Identify and manage contractors, labour teams, fabricators, and suppliers Negotiate pricing and manage project costs effectively

 Verify BOQs, quotations, measurements, and contractor bills

 Ensure quality standards and cost control throughout project execution

Reporting & Documentation

 Share regular project updates and progress reports with management

 Maintain documentation related to project execution, bills, approvals, and

maintenance activities

Preferred Candidate Profile

 Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering

 2.5–5 years of experience in:

o Factory projects

o Industrial infrastructure

o Warehouse projects

o Commercial construction

o Facility maintenance

 Strong understanding of:

o Site execution

o BOQs and billing

o Contractor management

o Civil maintenance

o AutoCAD basics

 Strong ownership and execution mindset

 Practical understanding of infrastructure aesthetics and space improvement

 Comfortable relocating to Shimla initially for factory-based operations

 Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities
