What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

The QE Consultant is accountable for shaping and executing a forward-thinking testing strategy with a solid emphasis on automation and AI-driven solutions. This role translates business requirements into robust, automated test scenarios and scripts, ensuring comprehensive Development Integration Testing (DIT) across a variety of platforms. The incumbent champions the adoption of advanced automation frameworks and AI technologies, maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):

Automation-Driven Testing Strategy:

- Define, document, and continuously enhance the testing strategy with a primary focus on automation and AI integration to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.

Comprehensive Automated DIT:

- Ensure thorough Development Integration Testing across platforms by implementing and maintaining advanced automation frameworks and AI-powered testing tools.

Innovation in Automation:

- Proactively research, evaluate, and integrate emerging automation and AI technologies to strengthen the automation landscape and drive continuous improvement.





Complex Issue Resolution:

- Utilize automation and AI-based analytics to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues encountered during test execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

Quality Assurance Leadership:

- Advocate for automation best practices and AI-driven quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Risk & Escalation Management:

- Proactively identify risks and escalate concerns, leveraging AI-driven insights to inform decision-making and stakeholder communication.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

- Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure alignment of testing activities with business and technical requirements.
- Works closely with IT infrastructure and operations teams to coordinate integration testing and resolve environment-related issues.
- Partners with external vendors and technology partners to evaluate and implement new automation and AI testing tools.
- Engages with stakeholders to communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes.

JOB DIMENSIONS

- Provides quality assurance expertise across multiple technology platforms, including WebServices, API, UI, ETL, Mainframe, and databases.
- Supports multiple concurrent projects in an agile and waterfall environment.




- Influences the adoption and integration of automation and AI testing tools within the team.
- Provides advisory support to project teams regarding test automation strategies and best practices.

Experience: 7+ years of experience

Who You Are (skills/qualifications):

Must Have Skills:

- 7+ years of overall experience in Software Testing, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, QA approaches, and tools.
- Experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence, ALM,ParasoftSOAtest(or SOAPUI or PostMan), Selenic (or Cypress or Playwright).
- Hands on experience testing WebServices(SOAP/REST), UI, SQL/DB, and ETL.
- Relevant experience with Scripting (Java or Python)
- Strongexpertisein developing automated test scenarios and scripts using leading automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Data driven)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey detailed information in an impactful manner.

Nice to Have skills:

- AI skills with realtime experience in AI integration for testing and automation
- Knowledge of AML and testing regulatory requirements is a plus
- Up-to-date knowledge of technology advancements and trends in test automation
