As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in building HiWox's AI-driven wellness intelligence engine, predictive analytics models, and research-backed healthcare algorithms.

Key Responsibilities AI & Predictive Healthcare Models

- Develop machine learning models for personalized wellness recommendations, health risk prediction, disease prevention, client adherence, and outcome forecasting.
- Build AI models that combine biometric data, laboratory reports, wearable data, lifestyle habits, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and mental wellness into personalized insights.
- Design predictive analytics for chronic disease risk, wellness scoring, engagement prediction, and behavioral interventions.

Wellness Intelligence Engine

- Design and continuously improve HiWox's Digital Health Intelligence (DHI) scoring system across the 9 dimensions of wellness.
- Develop algorithms that generate personalized wellness scores, progress indicators, intervention priorities, and transformation recommendations.
- Build explainable AI models that provide transparent and clinically meaningful recommendations.

Data Engineering & Analytics

- Design healthcare data pipelines, ETL workflows, feature engineering processes, and analytical dashboards.
- Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data from diagnostics, wearables, questionnaires, consultations, and user interactions.
- Develop dashboards for consultants, corporates, administrators, and leadership teams to monitor health outcomes and business KPIs.

Research & Product Innovation

- Conduct research in preventive healthcare, digital biomarkers, behavioral science, health economics, and AI applications in wellness.




- Validate algorithms using scientific literature, public datasets, and real-world evidence.
- Collaborate with healthcare scientists to publish research, white papers, and evidence supporting HiWox's methodology.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with AI engineers, product managers, software developers, healthcare professionals, nutritionists, psychologists, and physiotherapists to integrate AI into the HiWox platform.
- Translate business and clinical requirements into scalable data science solutions.

Data Governance & Privacy

- Develop secure data handling practices while ensuring compliance with India's DPDP Act and healthcare data privacy principles.
- Build ethical AI systems with explainability, fairness, and transparency in mind.

Who Should Apply?

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or healthcare analytics.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for healthcare, AI, preventive medicine, and startup innovation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build solutions from scratch.

Immediate Priorities (First 90 Days)

- Develop the first version of HiWox's Digital Health Intelligence (DHI) scoring engine.
- Build personalized wellness recommendation algorithms.
- Create dashboards for consultants, gyms, hospitals,



corporates, and administrators.
- Analyze pilot program data to identify health trends and intervention opportunities.
- Design AI models for engagement prediction and transformation success.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI into the HiWox application.
- Establish the foundation for HiWox's long-term AI and healthcare research roadmap.

Equity-Based Opportunity

This is an equity-only founding team role.

There is no fixed salary during the initial bootstrapping phase. Compensation will be introduced after fundraising and revenue stabilization.

Our onboarding process includes:

- 3–4 strategic discussions with the founder.
- A 1-month NDA-based collaboration phase to evaluate technical capability, research mindset, execution, and ownership.
- Long-term founding team agreement.
- Equity allocation based on contribution, expertise, and long-term commitment.
- A 5-year vesting structure for all core founding members.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 2–5+ years of experience in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or Analytics.
- Experience building end-to-end ML models deployed in production.
- Solid GitHub, Kaggle, research publications, or portfolio showcasing practical work.
- Experience working with healthcare, wearable, wellness, or biomedical datasets is highly preferred.
- Bonus if you've worked in HealthTech, MedTech, Digital Health, AI, or Biomedical Research.
