Job Role

1 Strategize the revenue growth of business by ensuring higher admits and enhancement of ATP and SPH

2 Increase the profitability of the Cinemas through efficient programming, screen planning, pricing of tickets, F&B; and merchandised products, etc

3 Understand the requirements of customers, competitors’ strategies, etc and provide inputs to enhance market share

4 Optimise the cost of operations through value engineering, vendor and inventory management, and cost controls of all operating expenses

5 Develop and manage the budgets related to operations including projects, Opex, IT, HR, etc.

6 Periodic reviews of budgets, revenue forecasts, MIS, expenses & cost control, profitability, and action plans follow up

7 Brainstorm ideas, provide insights for decision making, and resolve issues in monthly, quarterly reviews with management and operations team

8 Provide guidance on best practices for the operations team by ensuring high quality infrastructure, ambience, services and F& B

9 Ensure customer delight with deeper understanding of the customer journey, their satisfaction and dissatisfaction, complaints and queries resolution, etc

10 Ensure regular upkeep and maintenance of the infrastructure facilities at the Cinemas including lounge, auditorium, commissions, restroom, etc

11 Understand new technologies including projection systems, ticketing, backend etc for smooth functioning and enhancing customer experience.





12 Develop and motivate team members to perform at the best by adequate staffing (inhouse and outsourced), performance evaluations and training, town halls, etc

13 Ensure high quality of employee hiring, screening of cinema managers and employee retention (attrition control).

14 Understand and resolve labour related issues and conflicts as per the needs of the organisation

15 Ensure adherence to applicable laws including labour laws, Firefighting and Safety, FSSAI, copyrights and obtaining licences and NOCs as applicable.

16 Ensure proper work setting, system, processes & controls, and people are in place including technology, information security, Fire and safety, SOPs, checklist, etc

17 Manage vendors related to housekeeping, security, etc and ensure quality of service

8 Provide ongoing support to other departments of the organisation
