Daily freight rate updation to concerned depts.
- Follow-up with Forwarders regarding container bookings, Delivery orders, vessel schedules, etc
- Follow-up with CHAs regarding container movement, customs documentation, etc.
- Tracking Lift on and Lift out of containers from container yard & our factory
- Follow-up with Forwarder & CHA for export documentation.
- Co-ordination with factory Operations team, CHA and Forwarders on shipping related queries & ensure
smooth container movement
- Tracking shipments until delivery at destination.
- Third party agency & Govt department certifications & coordination related to export documentation.
- Monitor freight & transportation invoices & coordinate on the same with Accounts department, CHA,
Forwarder, Vendors, etc.
- Reporting and tracking of excess or additional freight/local/destination charges/monitor sea freight rates &
comparison.
- Handling trouble shooting situations for smooth movement of containers & shipping related documents
- Miscellaneous routine logistics related tasks
- Prepare & maintain various daily/weekly & monthly MIS reports
