Qualification

• MS Ophthalmology

• DNB Ophthalmology

• DO (Diploma in Ophthalmology)

Registration

• Valid RMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Candidates should be capable of independently managing comprehensive Ophthalmology OPD services

---

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations

• Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctivitis, and other common ophthalmic disorders

• Perform slit-lamp examination, fundoscopy, tonometry, and refraction

• Interpret diagnostic investigations including OCT, Fundus Photography, Visual Field Analysis, and B-Scan as required

• Manage ophthalmic emergencies and provide appropriate referrals when needed

• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medications, and preventive eye care





• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

• Coordinate with Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Cataract, and Oculoplasty specialists for comprehensive patient care

• Good communication and patient counselling abilities

• Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach

• Ability to work independently in a high-volume OPD setup
