A Senior Accounts Executive manages daily financial operations, maintains general ledgers, ensures statutory and tax compliance, and supports financial reporting for an organization.
Core Accounting Operations
- Manage end-to-end day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger postings.
- Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), credit card, and vendor reconciliations.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles, ensuring timely invoice processing and collections.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial statement closures.
Taxation and Statutory Compliance
- Handle regional tax computations and filings, such as GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
- Maintain accurate tax registers, challans, and withholding documentation.
- Ensure adherence to local regulatory frameworks, company policies, and internal financial controls.
Auditing and Reporting
- Prepare data and documentation for internal and external statutory audits.
- Coordinate with banking partners and auditors to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports to aid management decision-making.
