- Key ResponsibilitiesInstall fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points (MCPs), hooters, response indicators, and modules.
- Perform cable laying, conduit/trunking work, termination, labeling, and wiring as per approved drawings.
- Test and commission fire alarm systems to ensure proper operation.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services.
- Inspect detectors, MCPs, hooters, batteries, power supplies, and control panels.
- Replace faulty devices, damaged cables, and defective components.
- Configure and program fire alarm control panels when required.
- Conduct functional testing, loop testing, cause-and-effect testing, and system verification.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and testing reports.
- Coordinate with clients, site engineers, and project managers during installation and maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures while working at customer sites.
- Maintain tools, testing equipment, and spare parts properly.
- Attend emergency breakdown calls and resolve issues promptly.
