Position: Sales Executive – Medical Devices (Field Sales)Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Manager

Location: Bengaluru & Hyderabad (Field-Based)

Position SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic, self-driven, and result-oriented Sales Executive – Medical Devices to drive sales and business development across Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The role involves promoting and selling advanced medical equipment in the ENT and Neonatal Care segments, including Coblator Systems, Phototherapy Units, and Infant Radiant Warmers.

The ideal candidate should have experience in medical device sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work closely with surgeons, clinicians, hospitals, and channel partners to achieve sales objectives.

- Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business DevelopmentPromote and sell ENT and Neonatal Care medical devices to hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare institutions, and specialty clinics.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop a robust customer base within the assigned territory.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical discussions with healthcare professionals.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.
- Customer Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with ENT surgeons, Neonatologists, Pediatricians, Biomedical Engineers, and Hospital Purchase Departments.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and prompt resolution of customer queries.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and hospital decision-makers.
- Territory ManagementPlan and execute daily field visits across the assigned territory.
- Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.




- Identify opportunities for product expansion and market penetration.
- Product Demonstration & Clinical SupportCoordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and clinical trials.
- Assist clinicians during product installations and initial usage, where required.
- Coordinate with the technical support team to ensure timely installation and after-sales service.
- Distributor & Channel Partner ManagementCoordinate with distributors and channel partners to ensure product availability.
- Support distributors in achieving sales targets through regular engagement and product training.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM/ERP system.
- Submit Daily Call Reports (DCR), Weekly Sales Reports, and Monthly MIS.
- Prepare sales forecasts and territory performance reports.
- Track quotations, enquiries, order status, collections, and pending opportunities.
- Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with Marketing, Service, Logistics, and Finance teams for smooth execution of orders.
- Coordinate product launches, CMEs, conferences, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.

- Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical SkillsKnowledge of medical devices and hospital sales.




- Strong understanding of institutional and B2B sales.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Working knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Behavioral CompetenciesExcellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional attitude with high integrity and customer focus.
- Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or any Graduate discipline.
- MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management will be an added advantage.
- Experience2–5 years of experience in Medical Device Sales, Healthcare Equipment Sales, or Hospital Sales.
- Experience in ENT, Surgical Equipment, NICU, ICU, Neonatal, or Critical Care products will be preferred.
- Experience in handling institutional sales and government/private hospitals will be an added advantage.
- Travel RequirementsExtensive field travel across Bengaluru or Hyderabad and surrounding regions.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Number of new hospital and customer acquisitions.
- Revenue growth within the assigned territory.
- Product demonstration and conversion ratio.
- Customer retention and satisfaction.
- Distributor and channel partner performance.
- Timely submission of sales reports and CRM updates.
- Collection of outstanding payments.
- Market coverage and territory development.
- Compliance with company policies and ethical selling standards.
