DRD Pharma is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage the procurement of pharmaceutical finished goods from third-party manufacturers. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely product availability, maintaining vendor relationships, negotiating prices, managing inventory, and coordinating with internal departments for smooth procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of pharmaceutical finished goods.
- Coordinate with third-party manufacturers for production planning and timely deliveries.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Follow up with manufacturers regarding production status and dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Dispatch, QA/QC,



and Accounts departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure all products are procured from approved vendors and meet company quality standards.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, invoices, and other procurement documents.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, or damaged products.
- Prepare purchase reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising product quality.
- Required SkillsStrong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical finished goods procurement.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Tally or other inventory management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vendors simultaneously.

Experience

- Minimum 1 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchase.
- Must have hands-on experience in Finished Goods procurement.
- Experience in PCD Pharma or Third-Party Manufacturing companies will be preferred.
