- Key ResponsibilitiesClinical AssistancePrepare treatment rooms before patient appointments.
- Sterilize and arrange dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist the dentist during procedures such as:
- Dental fillings
- Root canal treatments
- Extractions
- Crowns and bridges
- Dental implants
- Orthodontic procedures
- Perform chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Operate suction and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
- Prepare dental materials such as cements, impression materials, and restorative materials.
- Patient CareWelcome and guide patients throughout their visit.
- Record medical and dental history.
- Explain treatment procedures and post-treatment instructions.
- Schedule follow-up appointments.
- Ensure patients have a comfortable and positive experience.
- Sterilization & Infection ControlClean, disinfect, and sterilize all instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms.
- Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain sterilization records.
- Dispose of biomedical waste as per regulatory guidelines.
- Inventory ManagementMaintain stock of dental materials and consumables.
- Inform the clinic manager regarding low stock levels.




- Assist in receiving and organizing supplies.
- Administrative SupportUpdate patient records and treatment notes.
- Coordinate appointments with the front desk.
- Assist in maintaining patient documentation.
- Support smooth daily clinic operations.
- Required QualificationsDiploma/Certificate in Dental Assisting or relevant healthcare qualification.
- 0–3 years of experience in a dental clinic (Freshers may also apply).
- Basic knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
