Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Wintel Server platforms and manage server virtualization, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of both physical and virtual Windows servers.
- Perform server builds, configurations, root cause analysis, and problem management in alignment with ITIL standards (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server Operating Systems (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Manage core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Monitor server performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Handle user account management and access rights within Windows Server environments.
- Design and implement complex infrastructure projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, including administrative tools and utilities.
- Ensure system security through access control, backups, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support enterprise applications and services.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation.
- Provide backend support to implementation and deployment teams.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork capabilities to drive results.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Bring 6–7 years of experience in managing energetic and complex Wintel environments.
- Manage capacity, performance, and availability monitoring to ensure optimal operations.
- Work with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Possess working knowledge of SAN and NAS storage systems.
- Have hands-on experience with backup solutions and antivirus administration.
