A Steel Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing steel structures as per technical drawings and specifications. The role involves working with various tools and machinery to ensure accurate fabrication and quality output.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements
Cut, bend, and shape steel and metal components using tools and machines
Assemble fabricated parts to form complete structures
Perform basic welding, grinding, and finishing work
Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment
Inspect finished products for quality and compliance
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements
ITI / Diploma in fabrication, welding, or related field
Proven experience as a steel fabricator or similar role
Knowledge of fabrication tools and machinery
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Basic welding skills preferred
Positive physical stamina and attention to detail
