Job Title: Hard Gelatin Capsule (HGC) Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hard Gelatin Capsule Operator to operate capsule filling machines and ensure efficient production of high-quality capsules. The candidate must follow GMP guidelines and maintain strict quality and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate capsule filling machines (manual / semi-auto / automatic) as per SOPs.
- Perform capsule loading, powder filling, locking, polishing, and sorting operations.
- Set up and adjust machine parameters for different capsule sizes (00, 0, 1, 2, etc.).
- Monitor in-process parameters such as fill weight, locking length, and appearance.
- Handle raw materials and empty capsules carefully to avoid damage or wastage.
- Ensure proper cleaning of machines and area as per SOP and perform line clearance.
- Record all production and in-process data in BMR/BPR documents.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine or process issues (weight variation, improper locking, leakage, etc.).




- Maintain machine efficiency and minimize rejection.
- Follow cGMP, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks and approvals.

Required Qualifications:

- Diploma / B.Sc. / ITI in relevant field
- Experience: 1–5 years in capsule filling (pharma industry preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

- Knowledge of capsule filling machines (e.g., ACG Pam, Bosch, Sejong, etc.)
- Understanding of capsule sizes and filling techniques
- Familiarity with GMP and documentation practices
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in shifts

Preferred Requirements:

- Experience in WHO-GMP / USFDA / EU-GMP approved plants
- Knowledge of common capsule defects (loose locking, powder leakage, dents, etc.)

Working Conditions:

- Manufacturing plant workplace
- Rotational shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
