The Job Role and Responsibilities

The SEO Analyst is involved in keyword research, advising of best practices and developing SEO strategies both on and off page for the company's websites. He/she works closely with the team that drives content to the website. Some responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day search marketing activities (planning, budget management, optimization).

Recommending and executing content strategies aligned with SEO goals.

Link building campaigns, backlink analysis, opportunity identification and optimization.

Implementation/administration of search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools).





Monitoring analytics dashboards and reports to recommend SEO improvements.

Competencies and Skills Required

Strong knowledge of SEO tools (keyword tools, web analytics and internal reporting tools).

Positive command of written and spoken English.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Ability to think creatively and strategically and resolve problems.
