About the Role

Dreamtime Learning Online School is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Science Teacher to teach NIOS Grade 9 & 10 students. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging online lessons, helping students understand key concepts in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, and Civics, while preparing them for NIOS examinations and assignments.

NIOS Social Science (Subject Code 213) covers areas such as society and culture, India's freedom movement, constitution, democracy, environment, resources, and contemporary issues.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct 12 online Social Science classes per week.

Teach NIOS Grade 9 & 10 curriculum effectively.

Prepare lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, and assessments.

Guide students in Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) and examination preparation.

Conduct periodic tests and provide constructive feedback.





Encourage student participation through interactive teaching methods.

Monitor student progress and maintain academic records.

Attend academic meetings and training sessions as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.

B.Ed. preferred.

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Grade 9 & 10 Social Science.

Experience with NIOS, CBSE, ICSE, or State Board curriculum is preferred.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Robust online teaching and classroom management skills.

Laptop with stable internet connection is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with NIOS examination patterns and TMAs.

Ability to simplify complex concepts through real-life examples.

Proficiency in using online teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Classroom.

Strong student engagement and mentoring skills.

Compensation

₹350 per class
