We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to manage and supervise daily operations in the PVC pipe manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, controlling wastage, and ensuring smooth shop floor operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise PVC pipe / conduit production (Extrusion process).
- Achieve daily production targets as per production plan.
- Monitor extrusion machines, mixers, grinders, and belling machines.
- Control raw material usage (PVC resin, additives, stabilizers).
- Reduce rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Ensure pipe dimensions, weight, thickness, and quality as per IS standards.
- Maintain shift production reports and downtime records.
- Handle manpower allocation and operator supervision.
- Coordinate with Quality Control and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure safety compliance and 5S implementation.
- Conduct hourly production monitoring and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Production / Plastic Technology.
- 1-3years experience in PVC pipe manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge in PVC extrusion process.
- Knowledge of pipe sizing, cooling tank, haul-off, cutter operation.
