About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Content & Distribution Strategist to join our team in a founding role. This position offers a unique opportunity to own the strategy, research, and content direction for our properties. You will report directly to leadership and have a clear path to building and leading a team as the function proves itself.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive content strategies for scaling Instagram and YouTube pages from scratch.
- Content Direction: Develop engaging content concepts, scripts, and captions that resonate with target audiences and drive growth and retention.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze platform-specific metrics to identify trends and optimize content for maximum engagement.
- Content Calendar Management: Own the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Research: Conduct thorough research to inform content direction and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Autonomous Execution: Navigate ambiguity and take initiative in defining processes and strategies without a predefined playbook.

Must-Haves

- Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in scaling Instagram and/or YouTube pages from scratch,



with a portfolio of successful examples.
- Growth Instincts: Sharp instinct for identifying hooks, pacing, formats, and understanding algorithmic behavior that drives growth and retention.
- Strong Writing Skills: Ability to transform ideas into compelling scripts, captions, or concepts independently.
- End-to-End Ownership: Experience managing a content strategy and calendar from conception to execution.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: High comfort level with working autonomously in an undefined role, creating processes and strategies as needed.

Nice-to-Haves

- Multi-Niche Management: Experience running multiple pages across different niches simultaneously.
- Familiarity with AI Tools: Knowledge of AI-generated video/content tools and workflows.
- Agency Background: Experience supporting brand or client-facing content teams in an agency setting.
- Team Management: Prior experience managing a small team of interns or freelancers.
