DATA ANALYST (POWER BI & EXCEL)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and MS Excel.

The ideal candidate will be confident in building dashboards, managing high-volume data workflows, and delivering accurate, insight-driven outputs. You should be capable of transforming raw data into meaningful insights while efficiently handling operational data processes in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Insight Generation:

Analyze raw data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present actionable insights with transparent, narrative-driven recommendations.

Dashboard Development:

Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and data models using DAX and Power Query.

ETL & Data Preparation:

Extract, clean, and transform data using Power Query (Excel & Power BI), ensuring data quality, consistency, and scalability.

Workflow Management:

Manage daily inflow of Excel and PDF files

Allocate tasks based on priority, complexity, and team capacity

Ensure timely delivery of outputs with high accuracy

Automation & Process Improvement:

Automate recurring reports (scheduled refresh, alerts)



and improve workflows to increase efficiency.

Data Processing & Handling:

Work with structured and unstructured data, including OCR tools and PDF-to-Excel conversion.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work cross-functionally, gather requirements, and present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence / Data Processing roles.

Technical Skills

Power BI: Dashboarding, Data Modeling, DAX

Power Query: Data transformation and ETL

Microsoft Excel (Advanced):

Functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH

Pivot Tables

Data cleaning: TRIM, CLEAN, CONCATENATE

VBA/Macros (preferred)

SQL: Basic querying knowledge (preferred)
