Job Description:

Job Title: AHU Electrical/Automation Engineer

Department: Engineering / HVAC Systems
Employment Type: Full time / Permanent
Experience Level: 2–5+ years preferred

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated AHUElectrical/Automation Engineer to install, commission, and maintain electrical and automation systems for HVAC Air Handling Units (AHUs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AHU/ Any other control panels, PLC programming, BMS integration (optional), and electrical troubleshooting in industrial or commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of electrical control systems for AHUs including Panel wiring, power distribution, motor control, and safety systems.
- Configure and program PLCs and HMIs for AHU automation and control.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic.
- Conduct installation, testing, assembly, and troubleshooting of AHU control systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical faults, standards, and safety regulations.




- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, HVAC design team, and handle/ Support field technicians.
- Maintain documentation of control logic, wiring diagrams, and test reports.
- Provide technical support during project execution and post-installation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in AHU systems, HVAC automation, or building systems control.
- Strong knowledge of electrical panel, motor starters, VFDs, contactors, and relays.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HVAC process controls and instrumentation (temperature, pressure, humidity sensors).
- Understanding of BMS protocols and interface standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.

Preferred:

- Experience with BMS systems
- Certification in PLC/SCADA systems or Building Automation (Optional).
- Knowledge of energy efficiency and smart control strategies.
