Position - Electric Maintenance Engineer

Experience:

3–5 years (preferably in Paper Industry or other process industries)

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment in the paper mill (motors, transformers, MCC panels, drives, compressors, boilers).
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in HT and LT systems.
- Implement energy efficiency measures such as power factor correction, VFD installation, and LED lighting.
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards (IS/IEC norms) and ensure zero non-compliance during audits.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and energy consumption reports.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical consumables.
- Lead and train the maintenance team, allocate tasks effectively, and build a safety-first culture.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring faults.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce costs.

Skills Required





- Robust knowledge of electrical systems, motors, transformers, and drives.
- Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, insulation testing).
- Expertise in troubleshooting and fault rectification.
- Familiarity with energy management and cost control practices.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting ability.
- Awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in the paper industry.
