Job Summary

Experienced in managing and leading the complete Purchase Department for Mechanical & Electronics procurement. Skilled in sourcing strategies, vendor management, price negotiation, inventory coordination, import documentation, and cost optimization. Expertise in ensuring smooth workflow between Stores, Quality, Sales, and Production departments while maintaining quality standards, timely material availability, and compliance with company policies. Strong capability in team management, employee evaluation, and MIS reporting to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- To own, lead and control the entire purchase dept. (Mechanical & Electronics)
- Plan & implement sourcing and purchasing strategies
- Maintain database of approved suppliers & purchase records
- Coordinating with stores to assess the inventory needs
- Ensure that all the procured items meet the required quality standards & specifications
- Ensure that timely paperwork is done for import purchase so as to avoid penalties
- Negotiate price & contract with suppliers
- Evaluate vendor based on quality, delivery & price
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
- Ensure that minimum 3 vendor quotations are available anytime for a particular product




- Escalating unresolved issues of the dept. to the factory manager
- To ensure the availability of materials from stores so as not to halt the production line
- Coordinating with Stores, Purchase, Quality & Sales for smooth workflow Preparing

monthly MIS to apprise the top management

- Reviewing the Perform Evaluation System for the staff (Weekly, Monthly and

Quarterly)

Required Skills & Qualification

· B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering

· Knowledge of mechanical and electronic components sourcing

· Experience in vendor development, vendor evaluation, and supplier management

· Proficiency in price negotiation, contract finalization, and cost control techniques

· Working knowledge of inventory management and coordination with Stores/Production

· Experience in handling import procurement and documentation processes

· Ability to ensure quality compliance in purchased materials as per specifications

· Solid analytical skills for MIS reporting and procurement data analysis

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
