Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Product Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience in Automotive Body Electronics and Instrument Cluster systems. The candidate will be responsible for product development, requirements analysis, system validation, issue investigation, and coordination with cross-functional teams for Body Control Modules (BCM), Instrument Clusters, and related automotive electronic systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesBody Electronics
- Analyze customer and system requirements for Body Electronics functions.
- Support development and integration of:
- Body Control Module (BCM)
- Lighting Systems (Interior & Exterior)
- Wiper & Washer Systems
- Central Locking Systems
- Power Windows
- Seat Control Functions
- Immobilizer and Keyless Entry Systems
- Participate in requirement reviews, FMEA, and change management activities.
- Perform functional testing and validation of body electronics features.
- Investigate vehicle-level issues and support root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with software, hardware, testing, and manufacturing teams.
Instrument Cluster
- Understand Instrument Cluster architecture and vehicle communication interfaces.
- Support development and validation of:
- Analog and Digital Clusters
- Warning Indicators and Tell-tales
- Driver Information Displays
- Odometer, Trip Meter, Fuel and Temperature Gauges
- HMI functions and display diagnostics
- Analyze CAN/LIN communication signals and network issues.
- Validate cluster functionality against customer specifications.
- Support defect tracking and resolution during development and production phases.
Technical Skills Required
- Valuable understanding of Automotive Electrical & Electronic Architecture.
- Knowledge of:
- CAN, LIN protocols
- UDS Diagnostics
- Automotive communication networks
- Vehicle ECUs and system interactions
- Experience with tools such as:
- CANoe
- CANalyzer
- Vector Tools
- ETAS tools (preferred)
- Jira/DOORS (preferred)
- Understanding of Automotive Development Process (V-Model).
- Familiarity with ASPICE and Functional Safety concepts is an advantage.
- Knowledge of requirement management, validation, and defect management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with OEMs or Automotive Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
- Team player with ability to work in cross-functional environments.
Pay: ₹297,645.82 - ₹972,734.49 per year
