We're looking for an experienced and strategic SEO Team Lead to guide our SEO function - driving strategy, mentoring a team of analysts, and delivering measurable organic growth for our clients.

As an SEO Team Lead, you will own SEO strategy and execution across client and company websites, lead a team of SEO analysts/executives, and act as the primary point of accountability for organic performance, reporting, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO analysts/executives, assigning tasks and reviewing quality of work
- Develop and drive end-to-end SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical) aligned with client business goals
- Oversee keyword research, competitive analysis, and content strategy across multiple client accounts
- Conduct advanced technical SEO audits and guide the team on website structure, crawlability, indexing, and site health issues
- Plan, execute, and oversee link-building, outreach, and off-page campaigns
- Review and guide SEO-friendly content creation for blogs, articles, and landing pages
- Manage search engine tools (XML sitemaps, Google Search Console, Webmaster Tools) for diagnostic reporting across accounts
- Monitor web analytics dashboards (Google Analytics and internal reporting tools), track KPIs, and present performance insights to clients and management
- Collaborate with content, social media, and design teams to align SEO with broader marketing campaigns




- Work with CMS platforms to oversee website content builds and administration
- Stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry tools, and train the team on recent techniques
- Own client communication — progress updates, timelines, strategy recommendations, and results reporting
- Set goals, KPIs, and growth plans for the SEO team; conduct regular performance reviews

Requirements

- 1-2 years of experience in SEO/SEM, with a team lead/managerial capacity
- Strong hands-on expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Proven experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, etc.)
- Experience managing or mentoring a team of 2+ SEO professionals
- Strong experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.)
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with client-facing experience
- Robust analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts/deadlines
- Proven ability to build SEO strategy from data and translate it into actionable team plans
- Any Degree (Marketing/Digital Marketing certification is a plus)
