Job Summary
The Line Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the packing line by managing manpower, maintaining productivity, ensuring quality standards, and achieving daily production targets while following safety and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Start the packing line on time as per the daily production plan.
2. Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
3. Ensure daily packing targets are achieved within the planned timeline.
4. Monitor the packing process to maintain product quality and packing standards.
5. Verify that the correct labels, cartons, and packing materials are used.
6. Coordinate with PPC, Stores, QC, and Dispatch teams for uninterrupted production.
7. Ensure packing materials are available before starting production.
8. Monitor operator performance and improve line productivity.
9. Maintain proper housekeeping (5S) and workplace discipline.
10. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
11. Record hourly production and prepare daily production reports.
12. Identify production issues and escalate them promptly.
13. Minimize packing errors, material wastage, and rework.
14.
Train current operators on packing procedures and quality requirements.
15. Ensure accurate carton quantity and serial number verification before dispatch.
16. Coordinate loading activities when required.
17. Monitor machine/equipment conditions and report maintenance issues immediately.
18. Ensure attendance, shift handover, and proper utilization of manpower.
19. Maintain discipline and resolve day-to-day operational issues on the line.
20. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualification
Diploma / Graduate (Preferred)
2–5 years of experience in Production, Packing, or Warehouse Operations
Experience in supervising a packing line is preferred.
