About Quem

Quem is a curated multi-brand lifestyle and gifting business with retail stores in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, a growing D2C store, and a corporate gifting arm that ships hampers in bulk across India. Our catalogue spans drinkware, tech accessories, bags, wellness, home finds, and games.

Everything we sell has to reach someone in perfect condition, often as a gift, often on a deadline. That makes the warehouse the most important room in the business.

The Role

You will own the warehouse end to end: inbound stock, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns, across three demand streams that behave very differently.

- E-commerce: individual Shopify orders, shipped daily, on courier SLAs
- Retail: replenishment stock for the Bengaluru and Hyderabad stores
- Corporate gifting: large hamper orders assembled and dispatched to a single deadline

Key Responsibilities

Inventory and stock control

- Maintain accurate stock across warehouse and both retail stores, with system records matching physical counts
- Run cycle counts and periodic full stock audits, and investigate variances
- Manage inward processing: GRN, quality checks against purchase orders, damage and shortage reporting to vendors
- Flag low stock and fast-moving SKUs to the buying team before they run out
- Own SKU labelling, barcoding, and bin organisation so anything can be located in under a minute

Order fulfilment and dispatch

- Process daily Shopify orders within the same-day or next-day cutoff
- Ensure picking and packing accuracy, with zero-tolerance checks on wrong or missing items




- Maintain packing quality standards, since most of what we ship is opened by a gift recipient, not the buyer
- Coordinate with courier partners (Shiprocket, Delhivery, Blue Dart and others), manage pickups, track shipments, and escalate delays
- Handle NDR follow-ups, RTO processing, and reverse pickups

Corporate gifting operations

- Plan and execute bulk hamper assembly lines against confirmed delivery dates
- Manage custom packaging, branding inserts, and personalisation requirements per client
- Build backward timelines for large orders and festive campaigns so nothing ships late

Retail replenishment

- Fulfil store indents on schedule and maintain transfer documentation
- Coordinate inter-store transfers and reconcile store-level stock

Team and process

- Supervise and roster packing staff, including temporary hands hired for festive peaks
- Write and enforce SOPs for receiving, storage, packing, and dispatch
- Track and report on dispatch TAT, order accuracy, shrinkage, packaging cost per order, and shipping cost per order
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping, safety, and fire compliance

What We Are Looking For

Must have

- 2 to 5 years in warehouse, fulfilment, or supply chain operations,



ideally in retail, D2C, or FMCG
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce order fulfilment and courier aggregator platforms
- Working knowledge of Shopify or a comparable order management system
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for stock and dispatch reporting
- Proven inventory accuracy record and comfort with audits
- Experience managing a small team, including seasonal staff
- Fluent in English and Hindi. Kannada is a strong plus

Nice to have

- Experience with festive or seasonal demand peaks (Diwali, Rakhi, corporate year-end)
- Familiarity with GST documentation, e-way bills, and delivery challans
- Exposure to kitting, hamper assembly, or custom packaging work
