About the Role:

oxymed hospital is hiring motivated Lab Technician Interns, Freshers, and Junior Assistants to join our clinical diagnostics team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on operational experience in a fast-paced hospital laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Phlebotomy & Sample Collection: Perform routine blood draws and sample collection following safety protocols.
- Sample Handling: Receive, label, process, and log biological specimens (blood, urine, fluid) into the system.
- Testing & Assistance: Assist senior lab technicians in running basic routine tests across hematology, biochemistry, and pathology.
- Equipment Maintenance:



Maintain cleanliness, perform basic calibration, and sterilize lab instruments daily.
- Documentation: Record test parameters, maintain registers, and ensure timely entry of results into the hospital software.
- Maintain standard laboratory hygiene, infection control, and safety norms at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), B.Sc in MLT, or B.Sc in Microbiology / Biochemistry.

Experience:

- Freshers, interns, and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.
- Key Skills: Basic phlebotomy skills, detail-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn, and basic computer data entry skills.
