Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MED Department Supervisor to oversee maintenance and fabrication activities. The candidate will be responsible for team handling, ensuring smooth execution of maintenance work, and supporting production through effective use of drawings, die/fixture development, and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise maintenance and fabrication team for daily operations.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment efficiency.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings for fabrication and maintenance work.
- Develop, modify, and maintain dies, jigs, and fixtures as per production requirements.
- Handle fabrication activities including welding, cutting, fitting,



and assembly.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for smooth workflow.
- Monitor and manage spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, PPE usage, and LOTO procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Train and guide team members to improve performance and skills.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, cost reduction, efficiency improvement).

Required Skills:

- Strong team handling and leadership abilities.
- Valuable knowledge of fabrication processes and maintenance practices.
- Expertise in drawing reading and interpretation.
- Hands-on experience in die, jig & fixture development.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.

Qualification:

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
