Job Purpose
Responsible for quality underwriting of home loans within stipulated timelines, adhering to HL policy and regulatory parameters.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Appraisal
Conduct credit appraisal and underwriting for self-employed customers; Assess risk and repayment capacity by reviewing financial documents; Manage the credit application process from login to sanction; Ensure portfolio quality management.
Loans Processing
Review files post-login within stipulated timelines and address shortfalls; Initiate technical valuations for value-based loans; Recommend loan applications for approval post-appraisal and discussions, ensuring compliance with lending policies.
Relationship Management
Maintain relationships with channel partners to process loan applications within defined TAT; Coordinate with legal, technical, CCV, and risk containment units for file processing.
Interaction and Loan Counseling
Engage with customers via phone or email to understand their needs; Clarify document-related queries to make informed loan decisions.
Training
Provide regular training to CPAs and channel partners on policy and regulatory updates.
Education:
M.Com, MBA Finance, CA, or CA Inter.
