Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP Senior Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA development , particularly CDS Views and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) . The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing modern SAP applications in S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance ABAP-based solutions in S/4HANA environments
Build and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption views)
Develop applications using RAP (Managed & Unmanaged scenarios)
Work on OData services (V2/V4) , UI annotations, and Fiori elements
Perform code pushdown techniques using CDS, AMDP, and HANA-optimized development
Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
Integrate backend logic with SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize code using ST05, SQL Monitor, SAT
Collaborate with functional teams (OTC, P2P, RTR, etc.) for requirement analysis




Support AMS activities including incident resolution, enhancements, and improvements
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and quality processes
Skill Requirements

Technical Skills Required

Core ABAP Skills

Strong expertise in ABAP (OO ABAP mandatory)
Experience in Enhancement Framework (BADI, User Exits, Implicit Enhancements)
Hands-on with Forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms)

S/4HANA Development

Strong experience in:
CDS Views (DDL, DCL, annotations)
AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
Code Pushdown techniques
Experience with SQL optimization for HANA

RAP (Mandatory)

Hands-on experience with:
RAP Business Objects
Behavior Definition & Implementation
Managed & Unmanaged scenarios
Service Definition & Service Binding
Experience in building Fiori Elements apps using RAP

Integration & UI

Experience with:
OData Services (SEGW / RAP-based services)
SAP Fiori / UI5 integration
Annotations for UI

Functional Exposure (Preferred)

Exposure to one or more modules:
OTC (SD), P2P (MM), RTR (FI/CO), EWM

Understanding of end-to-end business processes
