Job Description – Quality Executive (Plastic Injection Molding)

Job Purpose

To ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process by implementing quality control systems, monitoring production quality, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have experience in Plastic Injection Molding and a strong understanding of quality standards, defect analysis, and process control.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and components.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Plastic Injection Molding Quality Assurance

- Monitor quality of injection-molded parts for dimensional accuracy, appearance, and functionality.
- Identify and analyze defects such as flash, sink marks, short shots, warpage, burn marks, flow lines, and surface imperfections.

Process Monitoring & Improvement

- Analyze quality trends and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and customer complaints.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain inspection reports,



quality records, and calibration records.
- Prepare quality documentation as per company procedures.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality requirements.

Safety & 5S

- Ensure adherence to safety policies and quality procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards in the quality department and production areas.
- Support EHS and quality compliance initiatives.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Plastic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within Plastic Injection Molding or Manufacturing Industries.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of plastic materials, molding parameters, defect analysis, and process validation.
- Exposure to automotive, electrical, consumer durable, packaging, or engineering plastic component manufacturing.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
